EPA Type II Review and Universal Testing

This certification preparation course includes self-study and a two-hour review session covering Core and Type II material. Participants desiring more than Type II certification are encouraged to prepare on their own using the available preparatory material. The EPA exam will be administered immediately after the review and two hours are allowed to complete it.

Training Course and Exam Cost: $100
Retake Exam Cost: $50

Principles of HVAC

Physics of the refrigeration cycle, fundamentals of heat transfer, system components and function, introduction to airflow, system charging and basic troubleshooting. Emphasis on safety, performance and productivity. Class includes hands-on practical application. This class has been approved by NATE for 6 continuing education hours and participants are awarded certificates of training.

Gas Heating

Gas furnace sequence of operation, understanding equipment data plates, measuring and verifying correct gas pressures for single and two-stage furnaces, measuring external static pressure, line voltage and control voltage wiring and component checking. Includes introduction to circuit board diagnostics. Class includes hands-on practical application. Emphasis on safety, performance and productivity. This class has been approved by NATE for 6 continuing education hours and participants are awarded certificates of training.

Brazing Techniques

Class covers brazing techniques, pre-operational equipment safety checks, preparing copper for brazing, types of brazing rods, hands-on techniques. Class includes hands-on practical application.
